Prince Harry has released a new course on MasterClass, an online learning platform, titled, “Redefining Grief: Building Resilience Through Loss,” and while the lessons he learned through his grief journey may have been valuable, critics are wondering if it’s really worth the $100k payday. That’s right—the former Duke of Sussex reportedly took home the staggering six-figure amount for his new program. Keep reading for more information.

Prince Harry's 7-Figure Pay Day
The MasterClass, which is an online learning platform where you can take video classes taught by famous people and leading experts in their fields, was taught alongside grief neuroscientist Dr. Mary-Frances O'Connor. In the video, Prince Harry spoke how he grieved his mother, Princess Diana, and how it's impacted his life.
He also spoke about the year he spent in Canada after his son was born, and how the change in environment caused him to slip "into depression for about two weeks."
According to the Daily Mail, Prince Harry was paid a hefty sum for his MasterClass—a whopping $100,000. He and O'Connor's mission was to help viewers "discover new ways to process grief and find your way back to you."

Social Media Reactions
Across social media platforms, users were appalled that Prince Harry profited off of sharing his grief, with many users suggesting he should've donated all the proceeds to a charity. "Wow!!" one person wrote on Instagram. "Should have went to charity."
"I bet he won't donate any of it," agreed another user.
"He continues to live off his mother's death," another person wrote. "How admirable of him."
"Once again he's cashing in on his mother's memory," said another.
"Using Diana's name, but not suing her life lessons by giving it to charity," added the next.
"Don't know what we all expected," reads another comment. "Once a grifter, always a grifter."
"Desperate times," a final user wrote. "Cashing in just like his revolting uncle."
