Travis Barker Shares Hospital Bed Photos After Undergoing Nerve Surgery
The Blink-182 drummer took to his Instagram Story on October 6th to share pictures from his hospital bed, which showed him wearing a blue gown, a surgical cap, and a medical bracelet. And the Lemme founder and his 20-year-old daughter Alabama Barker, whom he shares with ex-wife Shanna Moakler, were both by his side in the pictures.
One picture showed Alabama sitting beside her father and posing while holding her phone to her ear, while another showed the Kardashians star leaning over to hug and kiss him.
Barker later explained that he had undergone cubital tunnel release surgery after experiencing numbness in his arm, hand, and fingers following a performance the previous month. The procedure was intended to relieve pressure on a nerve near his elbow, with the drummer explaining that he wanted to address the issue early to avoid further problems with his drumming career.
"Should be good in a few weeks," he reassured fans on his Instagram Story on October 7th, before joking about his wife's expression in one of the hospital pictures and saying: "Not sure why my wife looks so happy about this."
