Catherine Zeta-Jones appeared on the TODAY show on October 8 to discuss her new crime series, Kill Jackie, and her packed schedule. However, her noticeably slim figure also became a talking point on social media, with some viewers expressing concern about her appearance.
During the segment, the Wednesday actress demonstrated her signature Morticia Addams walk for Al Roker. She wore a red mini dress featuring gathered fabric along one side and long, wide sleeves that draped elegantly from her arms.
The Zoro star completed the look with sheer tights and black pumps, while her dark hair fell in loose waves around her shoulders.

Catherine Zeta-Jones Sparks Ozempic Rumors
Although the actress looked glamorous and fit, some viewers speculated that she had lost more weight, prompting a broader discussion about Hollywood’s increasingly thin beauty ideal.
Several commenters shared their concerns, while others made unverified assumptions about whether weight-loss medications could explain her appearance.
“So tired of this ultra thin ‘look,’” one person wrote.
“Can we stop glamorizing too skinny?” another commented.
“Definitely Ozempic,” a third person claimed, while another simply wrote, “This is sad.”

Others questioned whether her appearance was related to a potential role, with one viewer asking, “She’s looking extremely thin was it for a movie part?”
Another commenter criticized what they perceived as a wider industry trend, writing, “viral ozempic effect in hollywood.. sad to see sickeningly thin actors and actresses these days.”
“So another ozempic face & body,” another person added, while one viewer admitted, “Did not recognize her.”
The online reactions reflect ongoing conversations about celebrity appearances, weight-loss drugs, and changing beauty standards.
However, social media comments alone cannot establish whether Zeta-Jones has lost weight or used any medication, and the actress has not confirmed the speculation in the remarks cited here.

Catherine Says She Doesn't Have Time To Read Michael Douglas' Book
The 57-year-old's demanding work schedule may also help explain why she has had little time to slow down lately. During her TODAY show appearance, the mom of two was asked whether she had read her husband Michael Douglas’ memoir, One Helluva Ride.
She admitted that her recent filming commitments and travels have left her with little time for reading after long days on set.
“I just finished ‘Wednesday,’ Season 3, we shot in Dublin for seven months, and then I just literally got on a Ryanair plane and landed in London, did all of the ‘Kill Jackie’ stuff. Then I went to Bilbao, Spain, and now I’m here talking to you, Will, on the fabulous TODAY show,” she explained.
Despite her affection for Douglas, Zeta-Jones joked that reading about her husband is not exactly what she wants to do when she is exhausted at the end of the day.
“And as much as I love my husband, when I’m tired at night, I have no intention of reading about him. At all,” she added. Although she has yet to read the memoir herself, the actress still encouraged others to pick it up, saying “everyone else should.”
