Khloé Kardashian is sparking conversation after appearing in a photo that fans say shows a noticeably different side of her appearance without the heavy editing they’re accustomed to seeing on social media.
Over the weekend, the reality TV star and her mother, Kris Jenner, attended a conference hosted by Created in Los Angeles, where they spoke at the event celebrating leading online creators.
In a photo shared on the brand’s official Instagram account, Khloé posed for a selfie with the interviewer alongside Kris. Unlike many of the heavily curated images she shares on her own social media accounts, the snapshot appeared to feature more natural lighting and minimal editing.

The photo quickly circulated online, with some social media users commenting on how different they thought Khloé looked without filters or retouching.

The latest reaction comes after Khloé previously opened up about her history with Photoshop and filters, acknowledging that she once felt pressure to heavily edit her photos.
During a July 17, 2025, episode of her podcast, Khloé in Wonderland, she responded to a question about whether she Photoshops every picture.

“I don't,” Kardashian said. “But there was a time that I definitely did.”
The 42-year-old explained that she was once surrounded by people who made her feel as though she needed to alter her appearance, adding that the prevalence of heavily edited images at the time also influenced her.
“I do feel like there was a time that we all just got consumed in this filter lifestyle and we couldn't see ourselves without a filter,” she continued. “And there's definitely days that I'm like, ugh, I need a filter. Don't feel good about myself.”
Khloé also reflected on how years of editing affected the way she viewed herself, saying she eventually had to “reprogram” her thinking.
“I feel bad that I thought I needed to look like that,” she said. “But I was around people who were all doing that.”
She recalled receiving edited photos from others and eventually believing those altered images represented how she actually looked.
“I really had to reprogram my mind to be like, okay, we have to lay off the filters. This isn't real,” she said. “That's not how I look. And I don't want to look like that. It was a strange time.”
