Jim Curtis Dishes On Relationship With Jennifer Aniston
Yesterday, Jim Curtis appeared on The Jamie Kern Lima Show, and while much of their conversation centered around his new book, the conversation took a turn toward his relationship with Jennifer Aniston as well. host Jamie Kern Lima asked if Jim Curtis used the prayer, "I'm sorry. I'm listening. Thank you. I love you," with Jennifer Aniston at all.
In response, he said, "We do a lot of meditation, we do a lot of talk. We don't use this particular prayer," he said, referencing the prayer outlined in his book. "We have. But it's very easy."
Lima then mentioned that she and her husband use the prayer during "disagreements" or "arguments," and Curtis confirmed that there are many "different tools" in his book that can be used in those situations.
"Jen and I have been together a year and a half, so this tool isn’t the first tool that we go to," he explained. "[We go to] meditation, acceptance, understanding. Those kinds of things. In the honeymoon phase, your tools don’t have to be like big sledgehammers."
After some strategic prodding from Lima, Curtis opened up a little more about his relationship with Aniston. "My experience of her is so grounded and so open and caring and kind and loving," he said. "I feel blessed to be in a relationship with someone that is so open-hearted and kind and loving."
