Ariana Grande is truly fighting through a lot on her current ‘Eternal Sunshine’ tour, more recently revealing that a ‘deep’ injury is going to affect her on-stage style going forward.

The pop star took to social media today to announce that for the next few stops on her headline-making tour, she will be avoiding wearing high heels, a part of her usual tour ensembles. She revealed the cause was a ‘deep cut’ on her feet, and that there was a possibility it would restrict her from doing her choreography full-out during the lengthy show. Given her announcement came amid ongoing concerns for her health, Ariana did the best she could to clarify that she was going to be alright, receiving more support in return. Ariana Grande Reveals She Has To Take A Break From Wearing Heels Due To A ‘Deep Cut’

There are a whole lot of big musicians touring the world on summertime tours right now, one of the biggest being the Wicked actress, whose Eternal Sunshine tour has been a noteworthy one.

Throughout the busy tour, which has a setlist that goes through not just songs off her latest album, but some of the biggest hits of her career, Ariana’s stepped out on stage in elaborate costumes, many of them involving figure-hugging silhouettes and stunning accessories, like high heels. Additionally, in fan pictures and videos, she can be seen moving throughout each stage to perform elaborate choreography that makes her show even more interesting.

However, she just revealed that she’ll have to tone things down a bit for her upcoming shows due to an unexpected injury.

“I wanted to let you know I will need to be in cozy footwear for this evening’s show (and possibly tomorrow’s) as I am bandaged up underneath, recovering from a minor injury,” she wrote on her Instagram story. “It is not a sprain or anything muscular but just a deep cut! So when you see me tonight without my signature heels, or even possibly having a little trouble putting weight on that foot, that is why! But please do not fret. On with the show, and I am on the mend! I cannot wait to perform for you tonight and tomorrow (even if I am a few inches shorter than usual) … I love you always.”

Fans React To Ariana’s Injury Announcement On Social Media

It didn’t take long for the Nickelodeon alum’s Instagram story and injury announcement to go viral, especially considering she’s sparked health concerns earlier due to her appearance on this tour.

Ariana’s been turning heads and raising concerns with her ‘thin’ and ‘frail’ appearance, noticeably slimming down significantly in the last year. Though she has previously expressed that she’s healthy, her team claimed the scrutiny surrounding her appearance has been so intense that it’s led her to decide that she wants to take a ‘step back’ from the spotlight once her tour concludes this week.

Now, with the announcement of her injury, her loyal fans are continuing to express some worry about her condition while also sending her messages of healing and support.

“Ariana, please be careful, my dear,” responded an X user. “Love you always. This is why I’m concerned about you.”

“Oh no!” wrote another. “Get well soon, Ari! Bandaged up but still giving us shows — queen dedication! Take care of that cut; we love you! Comfortable shoes era is still iconic!”

“Hope she feels better and recovers well,” added a fan, with another writing, “People talked about the way she dresses so much that now she has to make a statement when switching heels.”

“This is so sad,” they continued.
