Many thought her alleged “hair topper” was too different in texture than her natural strands, making it look “bad.”
At the London premiere on August 26, the Babygirl actress stepped onto the red carpet in a strapless, light-blue sequin gown featuring a thigh-high slit, bustier-style neckline and chain embellishments across the bodice.
The Oscar winner paired the glamorous dress with shimmery eyeshadow, subtle eyeliner and a pink lip. Her strawberry-blonde hair was styled down with an asymmetrical center part, with a few strands falling across her forehead.

But despite the star’s head-to-toe glam, some fans couldn't stop commenting on her hairstyle. Several claimed that a hairpiece, topper, extensions, or even a wig appeared noticeably different in texture from her natural hair, with some urging her glam team to reconsider the styling.
“Nicole is so beautiful, but her hair topper is literally separate from the rest of her hair. Her hairstylist did her dirty,” one user wrote on Reddit.
Another commented, “Her hairpieces are consistently a mess. At this point, I’m assuming she tosses them on herself just before exiting the vehicle.”
