Meghan Markle Struggled To Hire Housekeepers
In 2020, Meghan and Harry left London behind for a $14M mansion in Montecito, California. However, the pair reportedly had a lot of trouble hiring help to take care of their home, and a lot of it can be attributed to Meghan's attitude. "She had trouble hiring maids because a lot of the housekeepers in Montecito didn’t want to work for them," a source dished.
"Meghan would interview people herself and could come across as really snobbish and rude," the source continued. "Some of them were so offended by the way she spoke to them that word started getting around."
"It got to the point where people would joke that all the maids in Montecito hated them," the insider added. And it seems like the receipts are there too: in June 2025, four staffers left Markle and Prince harry's team. Plus, Kyle Boulia, the couple’s Los Angeles-based deputy press secretary, and Charlie Gipson, their UK press officer, quietly left their positions as well, after Meghan and Harry took on new advisers.
Another source confirmed that two members of their private team have also left their positions in the recent weeks. Is this a result of their move across the pond? Or do those age-old bullying allegations still have some truth to them?
