Melania Trump joined her husband, President Donald Trump, at the Freedom 250 Grand Prix, and while the first lady is often praised for her polished style, this time fans couldn’t stop talking about her nails, with some social media users claiming they looked like inexpensive press-ons.
For the event, the former model opted for a polished, formal look, wearing a crisp white button-down shirt with ribbed detailing on the sleeves and blue-and-white stripes around the cuffs.
The mom of one tucked the collared top into high-waisted black wide-leg trousers featuring front pleats and finished the look with a belt and black pointed-toe pumps.

Melania Trump Fans React To Her 'Press On Nails'
For glam, Melania wore her highlighted hair in voluminous waves with a center part. She completed the look with her signature smoky eye makeup, defined brows and glossy pink lips.
While many focused on her sophisticated outfit, a close-up photo of her hands prompted a wave of comments about her manicure.
Several social media users speculated that the first lady was wearing press-on nails and criticized their appearance.
“She put a cheap dollar store set of nails right before she walked out. Just for the picture,” one person wrote.
“Her nails look like week-old press-ons,” another commented. “They are too big for her nail beds,” someone else said.
“Them some bad press-ons,” another person added.
“Those nails are crazy work, Melania,” a commenter wrote.
Others came to her defense, with one fan writing, “Gorgeous. All the other complainers are jealous.”
“She’s smart, beautiful and classy, not threatened at all,” another supporter added.
Melania’s nails weren’t the only aspect of her recent appearances to spark speculation. Before the Grand Prix, she returned to the public eye on August 20 after roughly a month away from the cameras, appearing alongside Trump at a “Fostering the Future” event.

Melania Sparks Plastic Surgery Rumors
Photos from that appearance led some social media users to speculate that her eyes appeared wider and more open than before, with some even suggesting she may have undergone blepharoplasty. However, changes in photographs alone cannot confirm whether someone has had cosmetic surgery.
Cosmetic surgeon Dr. Fadi Hamadani weighed in on her appearance in an interview with the Irish Star. While he praised the first lady for looking “incredibly fresh” and “well rested,” he noted what he described as subtle changes around her eyes.
Hamadani said her eyes appeared “more open and less heavy than they have previously,” adding that the appearance could be consistent with blepharoplasty.
