After she shared a heartfelt caption dedicated to their decade-old relationship and he posted a few images of her as a bride, fans quickly took to the comment sections to show their support. Kamala Harris Posts In Honor Of Her & Doug Emhoff’s 12th Wedding Anniversary
Love is in the air as the famous presidential candidate and her husband are celebrating their wedding anniversary and expressing their devotion to one another on social media.
On August 22nd, the influential couple took to Instagram to not only share anniversary messages back and forth with each other, but also reveal some of their wedding photos from their 2014 ceremony to the public. In Kamala’s post, fans can see a photo of the couple smiling as they seemingly enjoy a speech during their reception. Additional snaps show them dressed to the nines, posing on a balcony in her multilayered gown.
Doug shared a series of solo images of the 61-year-old on their special day, including ones of her holding her bouquet and speaking to their flower girls.
“Happy anniversary to the best partner I could ask for,” she wrote in her caption. “I love you so very much, Dougie.”
“Time to check the wedding album again!” wrote Doug in his. “An amazing 12 years. Whatever comes our way, we are always in it together. Love you, Kamala!”

It didn’t take long for the committed couple’s Instagram posts for each other to go viral on social media, as many have admired their relationship over the years.
The two of them first met in 2013 after being set up on a blind date by one of the former attorney general’s friends, and she previously described their connection as “love at first sight.” They married on August 22nd, 2014, at a courthouse in Santa Barbara, and Kamala became the stepmother to Doug’s two children from a previous marriage, Cole and Ella, who proudly supported her during her most recent run for president in 2024.
Over the last year, more and more rumors have circulated about her potentially running another presidential campaign in 2028 against her famous opponent, Donald Trump, who insists he’s going to attempt to run for an unheard-of third term. However, she has not confirmed whether or not she’ll take the plunge.
