Second Lady Usha Vance is back with another episode of Storytime with the Second Lady, this time welcoming an especially high-profile guest: President Donald Trump.

For the episode, filmed in the Oval Office, the mom of three opted for a polished look featuring a blush-pink blazer layered over a black blouse, fitted black ankle-length pants, and black pumps. Across from her, President Trump wore a navy suit paired with a purple tie.

The episode, released Friday, centers on promoting childhood literacy. Trump joined Vance to read Presidents Play, a children’s book published by the White House Historical Association that highlights how former U.S. presidents spent their free time through colorful illustrations and kid-friendly stories.

While the reading began as planned, the conversation quickly veered into unscripted territory as Trump offered commentary on past presidents, his own reading habits, and life inside the White House.

When Vance asked whether he has time to read for fun these days, the Apprentice star replied, “I end up reading mostly newspapers. I usually read stories about myself.”

As he continued reading the book, the president also reflected on several of his predecessors.

“I think the presidents all work hard, but sometimes they take a break to have fun and exercise, like Ronald Reagan,” Trump said. “He was in very good shape. Lyndon Johnson wasn’t into shape, but he was a very tough cookie, a great politician… Ronald Reagan was a high-quality person. He was someone you looked up to. He was a good-looking man and very highly respected.”

Usha Vance Responds To Her Viral Affordable Maternity Dress

The latest podcast appearance comes just weeks after Usha unexpectedly found herself at the center of a fashion conversation over one of her maternity outfits.

For a Father's Day edition of Storytime with the Second Lady, she wore Old Navy's The Occasion Maternity Asymmetrical Shoulder Maxi Dress in coral. Although the dress originally retailed for $49.99, Vance later revealed she purchased it for just $8.75 after sales and promotions.

The affordable dress became the subject of a New York Times fashion column that examined maternity style among prominent Republican women. Fashion critic Vanessa Friedman argued that body-conscious maternity looks worn by conservative public figures reflected the Trump administration's emphasis on family values.

Vance responded with humor on X, writing:

"Now that we know the political significance of my $8.75 coral maternity dress from Old Navy, can't wait to hear what the New York Times has to say about my elastic-waistband pants and compression socks!" She added, "In the meantime, enjoy my pregnancy fashion (or lack thereof) and a good story with your kids on Storytime with the Second Lady."

Her response quickly went viral, with many social media users applauding both her sense of humor and her willingness to embrace affordable fashion.
