Noem, who is now the United States Special Envoy for Shield of the Americas, posted a sweet photo of herself holding one of her grandchildren on July 11th.
"Luckiest grandma and I know it," she wrote alongside the snap, adding two heart emojis.
In the photo, Noem can be seen wearing ripped peach shorts with a matching top featuring frilled short sleeves. She styled her hair in a messy updo, which showed off her large hoop earrings, and gazed at the camera while cradling her grandchild.

The Instagram post comes as speculation continues to swirl about her marriage.
Earlier this month, several news outlets claimed the former South Dakota governor had decided to divorce her husband following his alleged involvement in the online "bimbofication" fetish community.
According to the Daily Mail, Bryon had reportedly been chatting online with women from this scene – a subculture where adult performers dramatically enhance their breasts with saline implants to achieve an exaggerated, "Barbie doll"-like appearance. The reports gained further attention after photos allegedly surfaced showing him wearing oversized fake breasts while chatting with an adult performer.
Kristi Noem's Mother Claims The Family 'Knew' The Divorce 'Was Coming'
The divorce reports gained further attention after Noem's mother, Corinne Arnold, claimed in a new interview with the Daily Mail that the split had been expected. "It has been difficult, but we knew this was coming, that they were going to get divorced," Arnold told the outlet from her home next door to the ranch where the Noems raised their three children.
Arnold said her daughter told her about the decision in late spring, not long after the photos of Bryon surfaced. "She doesn't tell me what she thinks. Finally, I said: 'What's the deal? Are you going to get together again?' And she said: 'No. No. We're going to get a divorce,'" Arnold recalled, adding: "And I said: 'Who is your lawyer?' And she said it was somebody from Sioux Falls."
The reports come after years of speculation surrounding Noem's alleged relationship with former Trump campaign manager Corey Lewandowski, with multiple outlets previously reporting that the pair carried on a years-long affair. At the time of writing, neither Noem nor Lewandowski have publicly confirmed the allegations.
