Sandra Bullock recently made a brief comeback into the entertainment industry following the loss of her long-term partner, but sources are claiming she’s not doing as well as she seems to be.
The Practical Magic actress is allegedly living like a “recluse” these days as she continues to process the death of Bryan Randall, who passed away due to ALS in 2023. Sources from her inner circle have come forward to claim that she’s “closed herself off” to many people in her life despite getting back into acting more recently. The latest reports have seemingly sparked some concerns amongst those close to her. Read more about the situation and Sandra’s life updates below.

Sandra Bullock Is Reportedly 'Closing Herself Off' Due To Grief Following Partner's Death
It's no secret that for a very long time, one of the most popular actresses of the last two decades was Sandra Bullock, who was also one of the highest-paid performers in Hollywood.
The Oscar-winner was booked and busy for quite a while, then unexpectedly seemed to drop out of performing. However, those who've been loyal fans likely know that her absence was due to the loss of Bryan Randall, her long-term partner who was a photographer for various publications. The pair was together for eight years before it was announced that he had passed away due to ALS in 2023.
Since then, she's been making rare and seldom appearances, allegedly wracked with grief, but more notably making her return to the big screen for Practical Magic 2, the sequel to the famous 90s film starring her and Nicole Kidman. However, sources are revealing that her comeback wasn't necessarily the indicator that she's doing better.
"Sandra keeps to herself almost all the time," a source told Radar Online. "She only goes out when she truly has to. Those around her fear she's closed herself off. It's the grief, and it's something she's still living with every single day."

Sandra Allegedly 'Isn't Ready To Be Back In The Public Eye'
Since the passing of Bryan, and reports that the Blind Side star was struggling with grief and his loss, many have wondered what that meant regarding her acting career, and if she'd return to making as many projects as she did years before.
Many fans were thrilled when it was announced that she was not only filming the Practical Magic sequel, which is due to be released this September, but also stepping out for press and promotional events. But it looks like that might be the last time she does anything like that in a while.
"She's essentially stepped away from the business," another source told the above publication. "She hasn't formally said she's done, but everyone can sense she isn't ready to be back in the public eye. Once she had Bryan in her life and the kids to raise, her career just took a back seat. Her whole focus shifted – they became her entire universe."
Now, her inner circle is convinced it's going to take a lot of convincing to get her fully back in action, especially due to her condition.
"Losing Bryan completely shattered her footing," added an insider. "Her partner, her stability, her daily life – it all changed at once. It's been incredibly hard for her to cope. She'll return in her own time, but at the moment she's concentrating solely on getting through the healing process."
