The Magic Mike's Last Dance actress wore a lavender dress (although it did appear very pale blue in some light – is it the 2026 version of the infamous black and blue/white and gold dress debate?!) from McQueen's Fall/Winter 2026 collection.
The dress was totally sheer on the catwalk, but the ageless actress chose to keep things classy and preserve her modesty by wearing something underneath hers. The dress made a huge statement, and featured a high neckline and contrasting fabric that created an optical illusion, as well as a gargantuan bow at the neck positioned to one side.
The Frida alum accessorized with silver platform heels and pearl drop earrings, which were visible thanks to her hair being worn in a fierce sky-high ponytail. We think it was the perfect hairstyle for such a busy dress, not to mention such a scorching day in the capital!

The internet was quite harsh with its criticism of the look, with many people slamming stylist Pablo Patanè, who was reportedly responsible for putting the outfit together.
"It's a horrible dress and clearly does not flatter her," slammed one fan on Instagram. "Salma had all the money in the world and ZERO TASTE," concurred a second, as a third quipped: "Salma's gone and [expletive] off her tailor again."
"Worst Salma's ever looked," criticized a fourth, as a fifth called it an "ugly dress." "Salma needs to fire her stylist and get a better one. She's a very beautiful woman dressed in very ugly outfits," a sixth chimed in, as a seventh added: "Ugly shoes, ugly hairstyle and ugly dress! That color doesn't suit her, she looks like a quinceañera."
Not all the feedback was bad, though, as a seventh said she was "very beautiful" and an eighth said she was a "literal beauty goddess." "Beautiful as always," gushed a ninth, followed by the heart eyes emoji, as a tenth concluded: "She is a great Latina beauty."
