Dua Lipa Wears Custom Schiaparelli For Her London Town Hall Wedding
One of today's most popular celebrity couples is the "Levitating" singer and Fantastic Beasts star, who began dating around January 2024 and stole lots of people's hearts through their love story.
Following PDA-packed social media posts from the pop star and the announcement of their engagement, people have been on the edge of their seats to see what the wedding would be like, where it would be, and, of course, what Dua would wear. She's built a reputation for herself as a rather stylish celebrity, and with her unique diamond ring, many expected her to step out in a wedding gown that screamed 'high fashion.'
However, she and Callum decided to keep their initial marriage ceremony simple and classic at London's town hall this past weekend. Instead of an oversized ballgown or figure-hugging dress, the singer opted for a white, vintage-looking custom Schiaparelli skirt suit. It had a jacket with long sleeves and 80s-inspired shoulder pads, as well as gold buttons. The skirt was a fitted pencil skirt, which added a snug contrast to the extra-large, brimmed white sunhat she had on.
Adding one more old-school element to the look, Dua accessorized with some classic white gloves and was all smiles as she and her new husband walked down the town hall steps.

After pictures of the happy newlyweds exiting the town hall, surrounded by their loved ones, with tiny bits of floral confetti being thrown at them, numerous internet users chimed in.
Many were surprised by the style of the wedding as well as the couple's outfits for the occasion. Some loved the simplicity of it, while others were expecting to see something more grand or even more island-coded, given the amount of time they spent on the water this summer. Therefore, Dua's skirt suit was the center of attention and ended up garnering mixed reviews.
Aside from the fans who loved it, there were users on platforms like X who pointed out some flaws in it, including what appeared to be exposed hip pads between the jacket and skirt.
"I would like to know who [messed] up the hip pads," wrote an X user. "This seems like an obvious error."
"The hip thing is a bit off, but overall she looks stunning," commented another.
One user wrote, "This looks truly like a personal choice, but the visible padding is driving me crazy," as another added that it looked "matronly and not elegant at all."
